Our story

A small planet with a
big gravitational pull.

The Learning Planet started with a simple observation: kids light up when learning is hands-on, social and just the right amount of competitive. So we built a place where that happens every single week.

What we believe

Great programs aren't one-off workshops — they're seasons. Seven to nine weeks with the same coach and the same crew is where confidence compounds: the shy beginner records their first game in notation, the reluctant mathematician starts explaining strategies at dinner, the whole family circles Tuesday on the calendar.

Every planet in our lineup follows the same rules: hands-on over screens, leveled tracks so nobody is bored or lost, encouraging, growth-minded feedback, and a finale worth working toward — a tournament, a showcase, a leaderboard prize.

And because learning is better together, we design for community on purpose — parent-child teams, weekly leaderboards, and hallways where families actually get to know each other.

How we teach

The gravity that holds it together

Do, don't watch

Boards on tables, brushes in hands, paddles on courts. Screens stay in pockets.

Meet kids where they are

Tracks by age, grade or rating — from Picky Pawns to Relentless Rooks.

Families in the loop

Game nights, leaderboards and showcases that pull parents into the fun.

Kind, brave feedback

Process over perfection. Effort gets noticed, risks get celebrated.
